Harlem Ave. will be closed north of us on 26th Street. (The Chicago Central & Pacific Rail crossing.) Scheduled from 10/19 - 10/24.

Harlem Avenue will be fully closed at the railroad crossing just south of 26th Street beginning Monday, October 19th at 9:00 AM for railroad crossing work.

The roadway is expected to reopen Saturday, October 24th at 9:00 AM, weather permitting.

During the closure, the posted detour will use Ogden Avenue, 1st Avenue, and Cermak Road for both northbound and southbound traffic.

Drivers should plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and expect increased traffic on surrounding roads while the closure is in place.
