As part of the Zoom Dental closing procedures, we need to provide copies of the charts to all active patients. If you received services during the last two years, you may request copies of your chart free of charge during the next 90 days. Please call 770-751-8887 with your request.

The end of an era... with a heavy heart we must inform that after about 20 years, ZOOM DENTAL will be closing operations on the third week of April.
We are extremely grateful for all your support and trust during all these years. We made many friends, becoming like family. We have seen your kids grow, we have shared many good news with us, and some sad moments as well. We cherish the beautiful opportunity that you gave us to be part of your healthcare team.
Once Zoom Dental conclude operations, Dr. Perez will continue providing his professional services at Dental One and Associate in Fayetteville on a full time basis. You may make your future appointments at this location.
We will continue working on active cases until then, but we will not be accepting new cases as it will not be possible to complete many of them by the final working day.

Thanks again for all your support during these years!

Juice as a healthy snack or drink is a LIE that is being sold to the parents of our patients by Big Fruit Juice Corporations. The amount of sugar in these drinks is excessive and will promote the development of decay as well as nutritional, general health and weight issues.

Some parents are reluctant to eliminate juice entirely, but that would be the best option in many cases. If juice remains in the kid's diet, we should be helping them to brush and floss after having these drinks.

To help reduce the development of decay in kids, the American Academy of Pediatrics recommends the following:

0-1 years old: NO JUICE! None, Zip, Nada!
1-3 years old: 0-4 oz, in one sitting (no sippy cup or bottle)
4-6 years old: 4-6 oz, in one sitting (no sippy cup or bottle)
6+ years old: 8 oz, in one sitting

A juice box can range from 4.0-6.75 oz. For example - a Motts for Tots apple juice box is 6.75oz which is way more than a tot/toddler should be drinking.

We are constantly updating our policies regarding precautions related to COVID-19. We pride on keeping our office clean and disinfected to protect everyone: our staff and patients.
One item that we must address is the use of FACE MASKS. This in combination with the vaccines can significantly lower your risk of getting sick. Not all masks are created equal. The "do it yourself" kind of facemasks are not that effective preventing exposure to the virus. The gaps between the fabric on those facemasks allow the virus particles to travel through the material. Just like trying to stop mosquitoes with a tennis net. We recommend and promote the use of clinical face masks to reduce your risk effectively. Cotton, fabric, bandanas and other kind of coverings do not work that well and will increase your risk of contamination in crowded situations.
