FAQ's

Q: Can my kids come here?
A: YES! Absolutely. We love to make the "going to the dentist" experience a good one for children.

Q: When should I schedule an appointment for my kids?
A: We typically like to start seeing children for their first check-up starting around 3 years of age. At that time, they typically have all of their baby teeth in their mouths and they have an easier time understanding what we're doing.

Q: What if my kid isn't ready?
A: We understand that all kids develop differently. 3 years old is not a rule - it's a guideline. As long as there are no issues/concerns, it is very normal to wait an extra 6-12 months before the first appointment.

Q: Will you clean my kid's teeth at the first appointment?
A: Typically, the first appointment is just an exam with the doctor. We want the children to feel comfortable and we don't want to overwhelm them with too much going on. They go for a chair ride and the doctor counts their teeth.

Q: My child fell, but they are not 3 years old yet. What should I do?
A: Call to set up an appointment to get them into the office. We are happy to see children at any age if there are concerns, and we will do our very best to take a look and recommend any treatment that may be necessary.

This month we're saying goodbye to two wonderful members of our team. Our assistant, Alyssa, is beginning her next steps in her journey to be a speech therapist and our intern, Elizabeth, is heading to the pre-dental scholars program in Milwaukee! Thank you both for the kindness, hard work, and smiles you've shared with our team and our patients.

The best part of our office isn't just the smiles we create, it's the amazing people behind them. This year we're celebrating some incredible work anniversaries— 5 years for Kelsey, 10 years for Tracy, 15 years for Amber and 20 years for Val!

We think that says something pretty special. When people love their work, it shows in the care they give every patient who walks through our doors. Thank you to our awesome team for your dedication, compassion, and years of helping our patients smile. We couldn't do it without you!

Dr. Andrew and his wife, Anna, had a RUNderful weekend in Duluth, MN, where they participated in the Grandma's Half Marathon! 🏆 Yes, he is sore today, but he still showed up to spend this beautiful Monday with us. 😁
