Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham announced new shelter in place public health orders. Per her directive, “essential businesses,” including what the State defines as “dental facilities,” may operate during the next two weeks if they reduce their operations and in-person workforce to the greatest extent possible.

We trust in our systems that we have established and practice everyday to help reduce the risk of any virus to our employees, to their friends and family and to your friends and family as well.

Our office will remain open for you and will only be scheduling 1 - 2 patients at a time for their needed treatment. We will only allow a maximum of 3 patients in our facility, please refrain from bringing your family members into our office while you are receiving treatment.

We encourage you to call our office from your vehicle when you arrive for your appointment. One of our staff members will go to your vehicle and take your temperature and screen you for your safety and ours. Then you'll be seen by your healthcare provider.

Please be sure to wear your mask at all times when not receiving treatment and if you are experiencing ANY symptoms, please call and notify us before coming to our office. Our staff are in full personal protective equipment when treating patients. In addition, we have equipment in our facility to prevent and suction any aerosol that is produced while treated.

Thank you for complying while we get through this. Together we can keep each other safe and treat you with care! 👩‍⚕️

Time to smile again!

We are happy to announce that Madrid Dental will be reopening May 18th. You can now call our office and schedule an appointment for your hygiene cleaning or to see our wonderful doctors for treatment.

We know that COVID-19 has changed and impacted our lives in many ways, and you may be asking yourself, if it is safe to go to a dental appointment?

But rest assured that our office has always practiced universal safety precautions. Your health and safety have always been our priority and because of that we have ramped up our safety measures.

How you ask?

• Our team members are screened prior to their work shift every day.
• Our office only permits one to three patients in our entire building. (Luxury of a private practice ).
• Every patient upon arrival is screened by a series of questions relating to their current health.
• Every patient must wear a mask upon arrival to their appointment.
• Every patient has their temperature taken and a doctor determines if it is safe to continue their appointment.
• Every room and piece of equipment is disinfected and sterilized after every use.
• Our team disinfects door handles, pens, payment pads, counter tops, seats and everything patients come in contact with after every use.
• All our team members use personal protective equipment at all times.

We are excited to see each and every one of you again. Let us give you a reason to smile! 😁

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY CLOSURE
Our top priority is the health and well-being of our patients, families, staff and community. In this unprecedented time, we
are deeply committed to keeping everyone safe. In light of the evolving pandemic and out of an abundance of caution, we have decided to close our practice for the next two weeks. We believe that this closure will allow us to more effectively evaluate this dynamic situation and assist in following the CDC’s guidance on social separation.
If you have an appointment scheduled with us this week, our office will be in touch to help reschedule your appointment. There WILL be a dentist on call in the event of a dental emergency. Should you require emergency dental care, please call our office as you normally would and one of our dentists will contact you.
We did not make this decision lightly. A great deal of care, research and planning guided our decision. We will continue
to evaluate the situation as it evolves and determine on a weekly basis when it is appropriate for us to return to our normal business hours.
Again, please understand that we are making this decision with the health and well-being of our patients, our families, our
team and our community in mind.
We wish all of you continued health and strength during this challenging time.
Sincerely,
Madrid Dental Team 🦷
