🦷✨ Before and After SRP Treatment ✨🦷

Scaling and root planing is a non-surgical treatment used to help manage gum disease. When plaque, tartar, and bacteria build up below the gumline, it can lead to inflammation, bleeding, gum recession, bone loss, and even loose teeth over time.

SRP works by carefully removing that buildup from beneath the gums and smoothing the root surfaces so the gums can begin to heal and reattach more effectively.

• Brushing too hard/too fast, use a soft brush, gentle circles, and go 2 minutes
• Skipping between‑teeth cleaning, floss, water flosser, or interdental brushes daily
• Rinsing right after brushing, spit, don’t rinse, so fluoride can keep working
• Brushing immediately after acids, rinse with water and wait 30–60 min to protect enamel
• Ignoring the tongue, clean it to reduce odor‑causing bacteria
• All‑day sipping of sugary/acidic drinks, keep them to mealtimes; sip water between
• Old brush heads, replace every 3 months (or sooner if frayed)

No perfection needed, small tweaks add up to a healthier smile.
