Choosing the right toothbrush for your child doesn’t have to be complicated!

Look for a toothbrush with soft bristles, a small head that fits comfortably in their mouth, and a handle that’s easy for little hands to hold. Bonus points if it’s their favorite color or character. It can make brushing a lot more fun!

“My 21-month-old experienced dental trauma and had to have her front tooth removed. Dr. Bingham and Holly were amazing throughout the entire process. They slowed down the whole process to explain everything to me (I was very nervous).

They came in early to help my daughter. And the receptionist was so nice, friendly, and easy to work with. Overall, they made a really scary experience for our family very calm. They let me sit right next to her the whole time and they played her favorite show on the TV. The people at Rigby Pediatric Dental are amazing!”

May is National Dental Health Month, and we’re reviewing 5 simple ways to protect your little one’s smile! 🦷

Brushing twice a day, limiting sugary snacks and drinks, and keeping up with regular dental visits all help protect teeth as children grow. If your child plays sports, wearing a mouthguard is another great way to prevent dental injuries and protect their smile. It’s also important not to ignore signs like tooth pain, sensitivity, or swollen gums. Catching problems early can make treatment easier and more comfortable for kids!
