We know for children one of the most frustrating parts of coming to visit the dental office are taking x-rays! We get it! However, x-rays provide the dentist with so much helpful information! 😁

⚫️ It helps the dentist to find decay between the teeth! While our dentist has wonderful eye sight sometimes you can't see those sugar bugs between the teeth! X-rays help with that!

⚫️ They can help check the growth and development of your children's teeth. Certain x-rays help show us what teeth are about to come in and help us make sure everything is going well. Depending on your child's age it can even tell us how their wisdom teeth are doing. It's important to know so that if we see something concerning we can start working on a game plan with you!

⚫ X-rays can confirm infections! If your child is complaining of a toothache x-rays can help us identify exactly what is wrong! They can help us examine the tip of the roots and make sure there isn't an abscess!

⚫️Helps us to examine the area before we do a procedure. You don't want us blindly doing unnecessary work so x-rays help us make sure we're doing only what you need!

These ingredients are known as surfactants, which are also found in shampoos and detergents. These are added to help swish and spread product in a foamy lather.

While the bubbly foam is fun and helpful for spreading toothpaste, it isn’t all sunshine and rainbows. SLS also suppresses receptors in your taste buds that pick up on sweet flavors, so you are unable to taste the sweet notes in your juice.
