Dr. Janer is married to Javier Janer, a Notre Dame University Architecture graduate, since 1982. They have 3 children Pablo, Gabriel and Javier. They have resided in Texas for the last 31 years, which they consider home. In 2004 Dr. Janer and her husband decided to design and build a professional home nestled among the old pecan trees just across the Brazos River. One of the main goals in the design was to preserve the beautiful pecan trees and at the same time allow enough parking and building areas to comfortably accommodate patients and staff. Dr. Pablo Janer attended Dayton University in Dayton, Ohio and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He went on to pursue higher education and graduated from The University of Puerto Rico School of Dental Medicine in 2016. Dr. Janer came back to Houston to complete a residency program in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at The University of Texas. During his residency he focused on prosthodontics and full mouth rehabilitation cases with an emphasis on comprehensive case management. A segment of his training centered on digital dentistry including digital smile makeover and digital design. He also had extensive training in surgical implant placement and implant restorations. Dr. Janer won an award at the end of his residency program as the Doctor who completed the most amount of cases.
Dr. Janer has completed education and training in sleep medicine and oral appliance therapy for the treatment of sleep apnea. Furthermore, he is certified in the use of Invisalighn orthodontic treatment. These additional certifications and training allow Dr. Janer to treat the patient comprehensively in one location. Dr. Llelenys Rivera grew up in Carolina, Puerto Rico and moved to Houston in 2016. She attended the University of Puerto Rico, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree, magna cm laude. Dr. Rivera also received her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Puerto Rico, School of Dental Medicine, again, magna cm laude. Her quest for higher education led her to the University of Texas School of Dentistry, where she did a Post Graduate Certificate Program in Prosthodontics and graduated summa cm laude. She went on to get her Masters of Science in Prosthodontics, and in 2019, Dr. Rivera pursued a Fellowship in Oral Oncology and Maxillofacial Prosthodontics at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Most of us are asking exactly what this means. Dr. Rivera is not only a talented Dentist, but she can help restore patients who have lost facial features due to extensive cancer surgery. She helps re-establish the confidence many patients have lost, because they have facial abnormalities due to their surgeries.
