State Champions is a pretty big way for the New Kent High School Varsity Baseball team to end a season. After hearing about the countless practices, sacrifices, and big plays that got these players and coaches there, I chipped in toward championship rings for everyone who earned one.

These rings will represent more than a title. They’ll mark every inning, every moment of teamwork, and the pride this group brought to New Kent all season. The fundraiser is already moving forward, with 17 donations and more than a fifth of the goal reached. Since the rings need to be ordered within the next month or so, there’s a real opportunity to help make this lasting recognition possible.
