Dental Hygienist Needed

Multi-location Dental Practice –

Our expanding dental practice is adding a new Dental Hygienist. We are looking for someone who will grow with the practice to become a long-term member of our team. If you have at least one year of work experience, are great with patients, and like working in a busy environment with a funny and friendly team, we may have the right spot for you!

Customer service skills

Information collection and management

Treatment Planning and organization

Accuracy

Team work

Initiative

Adaptability

Discretion/confidentiality

What you need to bring:

Degree in Dental Hygiene

State License for Virginia

Basic knowledge and experience with popular software applications ( Patterson Eaglesoft, and Dexis digital imaging preferred)

Exposure to dental terminology, procedures, and diagnoses, treatment planning, etc

Reliable transportation for traveling between local offices

Dear Friends,

At Shockoe Dentistry, we’re doing our best to prevent the spread of Covid-19. We use masks and gloves when treating patients, use disinfecting wipes on all surfaces, and use only sterile or disposable instruments. We are doing everything possible to keep our patients and employees healthy in the clinical area of our office.

If you or someone in your family has been in contact with someone who has been diagnosed with Covid-19, please call or text to reschedule your appointment. Please call or text to reschedule your appointment if you have a sore throat, runny nose, coughing, or sneezing. Do not come to your appointment if you are sick.

We want to limit the number of people in the office. Just the patient in the office, children’s appointment with one parent or guardian, no siblings, friends or other family members, please. Feel free to drop the patient off at our front door, we can text or call you when their appointment is finished.

Did you know that Dr. Lipscomb worked at Ukrop's from 1990 until 2000? It had a big influence on him, as it did on many young people growing up in the Richmond area. We still miss it!!
