Yesterday we had the pleasure of spending our lunch with Loren Jaffe educating us about myofunctional therapy. Loren works with patients of all ages to train their tongue and face to move in ways to support breathing, sleeping, swallowing, and speech. We covered identifying tongue ties and possible restricted airways in our patients. Since it is Children’s Dental Awareness Month we wanted to share signs you can look for with your own children and sleep disturbances.

We look forward to working with Loren and having her as a resource for patients who may need her skills and expertise.
