Our pediatric dentists and orthodontists enjoy empowering their patients, from infancy to teenage/adult years, and encouraging them to learn and establish long-term, healthy behaviors. After your baby’s first birthday, our pediatric dentists will help your family navigate the world of going to the dentist for the first time. We will then teach your child that going to the dentist does not need to

be a fear-filled, nerve-racking experience, but instead a learning, joy-filled, and rewarding visit. By the time your child is ready for braces, our dentists will have already been in conversation with you, which will make the transition smooth, and patient-focused, and minimize the time your child will spend in braces. Another perk: Our orthodontists spend much of their time treating adults (parents!) as well as children, making it even more convenient for families. We recognize your family time is valuable and we hope to make your decision of where to take your child an easy, stress-free, and exceptional experience. 🔥This glow-up is a testament to the value of early orthodontic care. Harper started treatment with an expander and partial braces. She finished with a wide, healthy palate and a smile that has room for every single tooth.

She came to us with a Class II bite, crowding, and a posterior crossbite.
⭐️Phase 1 focused on creating space -- the expander widened her upper arch, and partial braces guided the teeth that mattered most at that stage.
⭐️After a rest period, she returned for Phase II with full upper and lower metal braces.

The result? A beautifully wide upper arch, teeth that fit together the way they should, and a smile that looks as healthy as it actually is.

The reason the American Association of Orthodontists recommends an evaluation by age 7 is exactly this -- some issues are much easier to correct when the jaw is still growing. Early care does not always mean starting treatment right away, but it does mean having a plan.

🦷 Transformation Tuesday: Meet Brent

✨ Class III bite corrections are some of the more complex cases we treat, and Brent's was a good example of what a well-coordinated treatment plan can accomplish. He came in as an adult with a Class III bite relationship and crowding, a combination that requires careful planning well beyond simply straightening teeth.

☀️ Clear aligners were used throughout his treatment, along with interproximal reduction (IPR), a precise process of creating small amounts of space between teeth to allow them to move into proper alignment without extraction. Once his orthodontic work was complete, Brent worked with his general dentist on build-ups to refine his bite and bring everything into its final, functional position.

📸 That kind of collaboration between an orthodontist and a general dentist is exactly how complex adult cases get the results they deserve. Orthodontics moves the teeth into the right place. Restorative dentistry finishes the story. When those two pieces of a treatment plan are coordinated well, the outcome reflects it.
