This is National Dental Hygiene Week and I would like to thank my hygienists, past and present, for all they did and continue to do for our practice.
This is Terry Jennings who has been with the practice almost 19 years and Cheryl Ender, who was with the practice 20 years before she stopped practicing dental hygiene as her career. Cheryl will still substitute for us when she can. These 2 women been instrumental in the success of our practice. I ❤️ you both!
Next is our Terry Jennings who reconnected with the love of her life, Bobby Bailey and are now engaged. We are so happy for both of them. I cannot miss the opportunity to mention Terry’s other career, breeding and handling Shetland Sheepdogs (of which she is President of the National Sheltie Club) and her beloved Havenese.
I also want to thank Rose Alberts for having joined us full-time over a year ago. Rose had worked one day a week for us for about three years and then when Cheryl retired came full-time. She is an amazing woman who gives back to her community over and over again with her mission projects in Virginia with the Mission of Mercy, serving the underserved in Virginia and her yearly trip to Belize where she teaches children the importance of good oral health. In her spare time she relaxes by fishing in the Outer Banks with her husband Kenny and stepdaughter Skylee. I hope we have let her know how much she is appreciated in our practice and for all that she does for us and for the community. I just couldn’t let this week go by, even though we’re not spending it together physically, to let you know that you are all in my thoughts constantly. I cannot wait for the day that we’re back together practicing and taking care of our patients.
Sincerely,
A very grateful dentist and friend...Kitt
