We are thrilled to introduce a new member of the PDG team, Dr. Carly Allen.

Dr. Allen grew up in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and went on to receive her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Texas A&M University College of Dentistry in Dallas. She discovered her passion for dentistry while on a medical mission trip during college. That transformative experience sparked a desire to help others through compassionate, hands-on care, and it ultimately led her to pursue a career in dentistry.

As a general dentist, Dr. Allen is committed to creating positive and comfortable experiences for her patients. She understands that dental visits can bring anxiety for many, and she works to ensure each patient feels at ease and truly cared for. She provides comprehensive, individualized treatment with a warm and gentle approach.

Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Drew, and their daughter, Noa. She loves being outside, traveling, and cooking. Dr. Allen is excited to be a part of Dr. Prewitt's team and looks forward to serving you well.

We have reinforcements!

I am pleased to announce the addition of Lee Bridgeman DDS to our dental team beginning in November. We have taken great care to find someone who can uphold the high quality and ethical standards we value at our practice to better serve you. Dr. Bridgeman is a brilliant and experienced dentist who will be a valuable addition to the team. Additionally, beginning November 1st our practice will be open on Tuesdays, providing patients with more scheduling options.

Dr. Bridgeman is a 2nd generation dentist and north Texas native, having grown up in a family of dentists in Plano, TX. After undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University, he received his doctorate in Dental Surgery in 1997 from Baylor College of Dentistry. His practice experience includes 2 years in geriatric dentistry, and over 10 years in general dentistry. When he's not caring for his patients, Dr. Bridgeman pastors a local church and tries to keep up with his young family. He also enjoys cooking, gardening, reading, and spending time with friends.

I will continue to offer the same services and schedule as before and look forward to introducing Dr. Bridgeman to you. We are truly thankful for your support and loyalty.

Thumb sucking and it's effects on tooth position and development of the palate can be hard to stop. We were able to treat this patient in our office and now she is no longer a thumb sucker! Her open bite is closed and she has a beautiful smile. We love making a difference in our patients' lives!

If you have a child in your family who is a thumb/finger sucker, we are happy to meet with you for an orthodontic exam to determine what is best for you and your child.
