Sometimes the best thing we can do is help protect what you already have.

At Ateeth, our approach focuses on prevention, early intervention, and preserving as much of your natural tooth structure as possible.

That may mean carefully monitoring something instead of treating it right away. It may mean addressing an early concern before it becomes a bigger issue. And when treatment is needed, it means considering conservative options whenever appropriate.

The goal is not to do the most dentistry.

One of the biggest misconceptions about a double chin? That it automatically means weight gain.

That’s not always the case.

Genetics and facial structure can naturally make the area beneath the chin appear fuller, even at a healthy weight. As we age, the muscles supporting this area can also lose tone, while decreased collagen and elastin production may contribute to looser skin.

In other words, there can be more than one factor contributing to fullness beneath the chin.

That’s why understanding what may be causing it is important before deciding if or how you want to address it.
