Dr. Houghton's retirement party turned out to be a great success -minus all the bees 🐝!
Dr. Cash had Mission Barbecue cater (highly recommend) and all hands were on deck! Dr.
Houghton would love to thank everyone for all the cards, gifts, and for stopping by to share stories and say thank you. He appreciates every single patient and has loved seeing you all through the years. You all were not just patients to him, you were friends that he holds near and dear to his heart. He truly loves dentistry, but it was his patients he loved the most . We wish him the best in this next chapter and will miss his faith, kindness, humor, and generosity.

Dr. Houghton searched near and far to find a dentist with high enough standards for his patients. Dr. Cash checked all his boxes and DISTRICT DENTAL OF JASPER was born . Dr.
Cash is originally from Crown Point, went to Culver Academy , Wabash College and attended Marquette for dental school. He received a scholarship from the military, so he gave four years of service for four years of schooling. He looks forward to meeting our great patients , while providing great dental care to all!

Dear Patients,

I am writing to inform you that after practicing dentistry in Rensselaer for forty-three years, I find it is time to retire . Serving as your dentist has been a great privilege , and the decision to retire was not an easy one . I have always loved dentistry and coming to work each day. I appreciate every one of you, and I thank you for entrusting me with your dental care.

It was very important to me to find the right dentist to take over the practice, and I am happy to say that I have found him. A graduate of Marquette Dental School in Wisconsin, Dr. Kevin Cash has practiced dentistry for a number of years, including in the United States Army. He is a native of Crown Point and a graduate of Culver Military Academy and Wabash College. I am confident that he will meet your dental needs with excellence, care , and professionalism.

I can’t say enough in praise of my fantastic staff, who truly care about our patients as well as about me and my family. I will greatly miss working with them and being a part of their daily lives. They are special women who will continue to assist you and work with you as effectively and compassionately as ever.

For a limited time I will be working in the office one day a week .

Please know that you have made my career fulfilling and enjoyable. You have certainly blessed me! May God in turn bless each of you and all your loved ones as well.
