We are very proud of Dr Jason Alford! This weekend he was awarded a Fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry. Less than 6% of dentists achieve this professional milestone! It was a lot of hard work, with hundreds of hours of continuing education, a difficult national examination, topped off with the presentation of his Fellowship award this last weekend.

Our dental assistant is expected to handle the usual and customary duties performed by dental assistants, and to handle administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

-High school diploma or higher

-Educated and certified in the dental assisting field

-CPR certified

-Two or more years of clinical experience in a dental practice

-Strong communication skills and demonstrated patients with children and special needs patients

Dental Assistant Regular Duties:

-Assist dentist(s) during dental treatment procedures

-Assist dentist(s) with typical procedures such as taking and developing x-rays, prophylaxis, charting, intraoral photos, placement of sealants, and assisting with any other clinical procedures up to their legal ability

-Assisting with setup, breakdown, maintenance, clean-up, proper sterilization or other preparation of rooms and equipment and instruments daily

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $22.00 per hour
