I got this peacelily for my birthday from my DA Mireya my first year in the office. It was a tiny plant then, it has probably tripled in size. I love this plant in particular, because it gets thirsty, and wilts over the weekend and when we water it it perks right back up. It almost seems like it misses us over the weekend.

Kids wanted sugar cookies, but I’m not good at baking. We made oat and banana cookies decorated with icing.

Recipe: 2 bananas, 1.75 cups oats. Mash bananas, mix with oats. Add in other mix-ins like chocolate chips, peanut butter, or nuts if you like. Place on greased cookie sheet, bake at 350 for 15 mins. Let cool.
