🌲 Oregon State Parks is waiving parking fees at Central Oregon state parks beginning today and continuing through the weekend.

The waiver includes day-use parking fees at:
• LaPine State Park
• Tumalo State Park
• Prineville Reservoir State Park
• Smith Rock State Park
• Cline Falls State Scenic Viewpoint
• The Cove Palisades State Park

During this difficult time, Oregon State Parks hopes to give community members additional opportunities to spend time outdoors, connect with family and friends, and find moments of calm.

Community organizations and local attractions are also offering supportive activities for families, including arts and crafts and other opportunities to spend time together.

People respond to traumatic events in different ways. For some, time outdoors or familiar activities with loved ones can provide comfort. Others may benefit from talking with trained crisis professionals. Please choose the support that feels right for you and your family.

We LOVE Silver Rail - and our hearts go out to all the families affected by the shooting today. The youngest Rookers (who are students there) are safe, but we are heartbroken that some children and teachers are not. You do not have to be part of a regular golf league to enjoy the Goblins & Ghouls Golf Tournament. This event is built for people who want a fun day outside, a little friendly competition, and a good reason to put together a team costume.

Join us on Friday, October 23, at Crooked River Ranch Golf Course. Bring friends, coworkers, clients, or family and make a day of it.

Check-in and breakfast begin at 9:00 AM, with a 10:00 AM sh***un start. Registration is $150 per golfer or $500 for a team of four.
