Some friendships go back a long way.

Long before our practices came together, Dr. Roos and Dr. Bruner were already friends.

Over the years they’ve shared ski trips, Seahawks games, orthodontic meetings, and plenty of conversations about life, leadership, and orthodontics. What started as a professional connection grew into a genuine friendship built on mutual respect.

These photos are a fun reminder that this relationship didn’t start with a business transaction or a practice transition. It started years ago through a shared profession and a shared love of helping people.

As our teams get to know one another, we’re thankful for the friendships that already exist and the new ones that are being formed along the way.

Great transitions start with great people.

For the past several weeks, we’ve been bringing members of the Roos Orthodontics team over before we officially merge.

One of the things we’re most proud of at Bruner Orthodontics is our team culture. These relationships matter. The trust, friendships, and commitment to serving patients matter.

Change is coming… but not all change starts with strangers.

Many of you have heard that Dr. Helgen and I will be leaving Bruner Orthodontics this summer. While that news has been difficult for all of us, one thing that brings us comfort is knowing the practice will be in the hands of someone we know and respect.

This photo was taken back in 2023 when we invited Dr. Brian Roos to one of our team events. We’ve spent time together over the years, shared ideas about orthodontics, talked about patient care, and built a friendship along the way.

As Specialty Dental Brands moves forward with merging the Roos Orthodontics team and Bruner Orthodontics, we’re grateful our patients and team members will be getting to know someone who shares our passion for creating healthy, functional, beautiful smiles.

Transitions are never easy, but relationships matter. We’re thankful Dr. Roos has already been spending time with our team and getting to know the people who have made Bruner Orthodontics so special.
