Setting the standard for periodontics—right here in Raleigh!

Last week, our very own Dr. Thiago Morelli served as an examiner for the American Board of Periodontology (ABP) National Oral Examinations. Out of only 52 examiners selected nationwide, Dr. Morelli is the only one representing North Carolina.

It was a rigorous week of overseeing three-hour examinations every morning and afternoon, helping to certify the next generation of board-certified periodontists. This dedication to the highest level of clinical excellence is exactly what Dr. Morelli brings to our patients at NC Implants and Periodontics every day.

Dr. Morelli has returned from the 2026 International Osteology Symposium, and it was an absolute honor for him to represent NC Implants & Periodontics and the Raleigh community on such a prestigious stage.

From presenting clinical findings on periodontal regeneration and managing complications to collaborating with the world's leading experts in regenerative dentistry, it was a week filled with innovation and professional growth.

Highlights from Vienna:
