Last Thursday’s Durham Chapter Study Club was our biggest one yet — and we couldn’t be more grateful to everyone who joined us.

A huge thank you to Dr. Donnelly for delivering an outstanding presentation on “Demystifying the TMJD Treatment Algorithm.” Her lecture combined practical workflows, real-world treatment strategies, and collaborative discussion that gave General Dentists actionable tools they can confidently apply when treating patients with TMJ complaints.

One of the highlights of the evening was having two Orofacial Pain Specialists in attendance, allowing for deeper conversations surrounding treatment planning and patient care. The feedback from attendees was incredible, and it’s exciting to see events like these continue strengthening relationships within our dental community while showcasing the depth of expertise within the Nu Image team.

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make this Durham Chapter Study Club such a success.

Some moments remind us why we do what we do. 🫶

We’re proud to recognize Dr. Perez for his incredible volunteer work in Puerto Rico. He dedicated his time and surgical expertise at a dental clinic providing extractions for patients who otherwise would not have had access to the care they urgently needed. 🦷

What makes this mission even more impactful? It’s coordinated alongside dental students from the UK—giving them invaluable hands-on experience while serving those in need. 👏

This year alone, about 18 students helped treat nearly 500 patients, averaging around 100 patients per day. Many patients were even able to receive multiple services in a single visit. 😄

Dr. Perez’s commitment to giving back—especially to his home island—is a powerful reflection of compassion, mentorship, and the heart of our profession. 🇵🇷

We’d also like to give a special shoutout to Kori for joining him on this mission and assisting during procedures. Your support and dedication did not go unnoticed—and we’re sure it felt great to be back in the operatory! 💛🖤

Last Thursday, we had the privilege of bringing dental professionals together for another incredible Continuing Education event—and the feedback says it all.

From learning practical ergonomic techniques to reduce strain, to hands-on demonstrations of micro-stretch breaks, this event was all about helping providers care for themselves while they care for their patients.

With guidance from Polished Posture, attendees explored better positioning, breathing techniques, and simple changes that can make a big difference in long-term health and sustainability in practice.

We were proud to host nearly 70 attendees at Prestonwood Country Club in Cary—and even more grateful for the engagement, energy, and thoughtful feedback from everyone who joined us.

Investing in education means investing in better care—for both providers and patients.

We look forward to hosting more events like this in the future!
