🎉✨ 24 YEARS OF SMILES! ✨🎉

Today we’re celebrating 24 incredible years of Davidian Family and Cosmetic Dentistry serving this amazing community…and we are still smiling!

Being a solo provider means I get the true privilege of caring for generations of families — from first baby teeth to confident cosmetic smile makeovers and grandparent grins — and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. We’ve shared so many laughs, stories, and sparkling clean smiles over the years — and a lot of “no cavities” happy dances!

I’m beyond grateful to work alongside my wonderful team and to have the most loyal, supportive patients. You’ve trusted us with your smiles for nearly a quarter of a century… how amazing is that?!

Thank you for being part of our dental family and for allowing me to do what I love every single day. We appreciate you more than you know! 🦷

Here’s to 24 years of healthy smiles, lots of laughter, and many more bright years ahead! 😁✨

**TOP 5 REASONS TO USE YOUR DENTAL INSURANCE BEFORE THE END OF THE YEAR**

Did you know you could actually save hundreds of dollars by using your dental benefits before the end of the year? Most dental insurance plans run on a calendar year, so make your appointment with us as soon as you can—we would love to help save you money and take care of your smile!

1) YEARLY MAXIMUM- this is the most money your insurance will pay for your dental work within one full year. This amount varies by insurance company and plan you select, but the average is around $1000 per year, per insured/person. The yearly maximum usually renews every year (on January 1st if your plan is on a calendar year). If you have unused benefits, these will not roll over and your benefits will be “lost.”

2) DEDUCTIBLE- this is the amount of money you must pay to your dentist out of pocket before your insurance company will pay for any treatment services. This also varies from plan to plan, however, the average deductible for a dental insurance plan is usually around $50-100 per year. Your deductible also starts over when your plan rolls over.

3) PREMIUMS- If you are paying your dental insurance premiums every month, you should be using your benefits. Even if you don’t need any dental treatment, you should always have your regular dental cleanings and gum maintenance to help prevent and detect any early signs of cavities, gum disease, oral cancer or other dental problems.

4) FEE INCREASES- Another reason to use your benefits before the end of the year…fee increases. Fees are generally raised at the beginning of the year due to the increased cost of living, materials and equipment. A fee increase could make your co-payment higher.

5) DENTAL PROBLEMS CAN GET WORSE- By delaying dental treatment, you are risking more expensive and extensive treatment down the road. What may be a simple cavity now, could turn into a root canal and crown later. Invest in your teeth now and you may be able to avoid many potential “emergencies” and their associated costs.

Lucy is TWO cute!! She loves “bee’s”, singing, reading, colored pens, baskets, fuzzy blankets, being outside & chasing Murphy! She makes sure we sit down as a family for dinner & never skips a meal (and never turns down a snack). She lights up our world—Happy 2nd birthday, Love Bug!

7 WEEKS AND COUNTING!!

As we near the end of the insurance year for most plans, we want to remind you to take advantage of any unused dental benefits. Every year you receive a maximum amount from your dental insurance company, and in most cases, the unused portion of this amount is lost when the new insurance year begins. These are benefits YOU HAVE ALREADY PAID FOR! Don't forget about Flex and HSA accounts.

Your dental care is important to us and we want to make sure you get the care you need withouth overpaying for it. If you have been postponing dental treatment or are overdue for a routine exam and cleaning, now is a great time to come in. We want to help you ring in the New Year with a bright smile and healthy teeth and gums.

We continue to see patients on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We will be in the office Monday November 22nd and Tuesday November 23rd of Thanksgiving week.

Please call us at 919-562-2345 or request an appointment online.

Our last day in the office for 2021 is December 16th.

Thank you and Happy Holidays to ALL!

The team at Davidian Family and Cosmetic Dentistry.

We have seen evidence of more bruxism (grinding teeth) as the stressors or the pandemic linger. There’s no doubt this takes a toll on our teeth. Since oral health is part of your overall health, please do not delay an appointment if you are experiencing any dental symptoms.
Treating a problem early could prevent or minimize long-term issues.
*Our doors are open to new and existing patients. We are following strict CDC and OSHA guidelines for safe dental visits. *
