A HUGE moment to celebrate! Today, our lease with The Salvation Army was executed and we can start construction on our expansion! (Yes, it has been delayed, but good things come to those who wait!). Can’t wait to serve more in our community!!

We had a fantastic day providing oral health exams and education on our mission! Thank you to the North Carolina General Assembly for having us! 🦷💜

It was a great morning yesterday on the Halifax Mall! Wake Smiles offered free oral cancer screenings at the North Carolina General Assembly and shared the importance of early detection.

Oral cancer can affect anyone, and early detection matters. A quick screening from your dentist can help catch concerns early, especially when warning signs like sores that do not heal, red or white patches, lumps, or difficulty chewing or swallowing appear.

We appreciate Wake Smiles and their continued work to provide dental care, prevention, and education, and we are proud to stand beside them.

May is . A part of our job is not often discussed, but it tends to be the most rewarding. When patients first walk through our doors they may be feeling shy, embarrassed or shameful about their oral health. In return, this often has a plummeting effect on their mental health. After their treatment journey, we see those same patients resiliently standing and smiling from cheek to cheek.
We see the change in confidence, growth in mental health, and significant impact oral health has on individual's lives.
