Some patients become so much more than patients—they become friends. 🥰

This evening, we were invited to dinner by one of the sweetest gentlemen we know- who simply just wanted some good food and a little company!
But… what he may not realize is that his company was just as much of a gift to us. 🤗

We shared stories, laughter, and the kind of conversation that reminds you how special genuine human connection can be!

It was SO nice getting to visit without having to talk over all those noisy dental machines—or asking him questions while our hands were in his mouth and somehow still expecting him to answer! 😂

This is what being a Hometown Dental office is truly about—caring for the person, not just the smile! 🦷 ❤️

✨ Meet the newest member of our Hometown Dental team! ✨

Kelsey will be joining us this coming MONDAY, and we can’t wait to introduce her to all of our amazing patients! 🦷💙

Some of y’all may already recognize this sweet face because she’s one of Quitman’s very own! 🥰
-Raised right here in our little hometown, Kelsey graduated from Quitman High School with the Class of 2008! 🎓

Kelsey’s heart for dentistry began when she became a dental assistant in 2013! 🦷
- After having her daughter, she knew she wanted to continue growing in the career she loved, so she took the leap and returned to school in 2018 to become a dental hygienist! 🪥 🫧
-In 2022, she proudly graduated from Tyler Junior College—and now her journey has brought her right back home to care for the community that helped raise her! 🤗

❤️👩🏼‍🔬When she isn’t helping her patients feel comfortable and confident in their smiles-
You’ll likely find her curled up with a good book, working on her latest DIY project, or coaching her daughter’s volleyball team! 🏐🧢

We feel so lucky to welcome another hometown girl to our dental family, and we know our patients are going to love her just as much as we already do! 🙌🏻👏🏻

💡Did you know your saliva is one of the BEST cavity fighters you have!? 🤔

🦷😳..I know right!? … Who knew spit could be so impressive!? 😂💦

I know it doesn’t sound all that glamorous…
BUT, your saliva is actually one of your mouth’s biggest superheroes! 🦸‍♀️🦷

It washes away food, fights cavity-causing acids, helps protect your enamel, and keeps your mouth healthy all day long! ✨..
(I know 😏.. pretty impressive, huh!?)

SO, GUUUYYYSS!! 😱
If your mouth always feels like it’s dry, that’s your sign to not brush it off!

Dry mouth can happen for lots of reasons!

….And believe it or not, your gums can tell us a LOT about what’s going on in the rest of your body! 😱

When plaque hangs out between your teeth (where your toothbrush can’t reach), it can lead to gum disease and inflammation.

🎉 We made it… and WOW, what a first week! 🤩

Thank y’all so much for your patience while we made the move! 🤗 😮‍💨

We’ve been busy seeing patients and already absolutely LOVE our new home! 🦷✨

💡If you haven’t visited us yet, our new building is where the “ Old Westerner Café” was originally built! 😱

📍 Located just off of Hwy 154, facing the court house- right next to Terri’s Nails!

🚗 If you accidentally pull into our old office first, don’t worry—we’ve posted signs to point you in the right direction! 🔄
