We will be reopening on Tuesday May 19th!!! This is not a full return to normal, there will be quite a few changes to our processes and if you have an upcoming appointment we will be contacting you to review these. If you have a dental problem that has been unaddressed due to our shutdown, please call us and we will get you in as soon as possible.

We are still awaiting further guidance from the Governor's office and the Department of Health as to when we can reopen. We will be implementing some new protocols to keep everyone safe and healthy!

Dear Patients,
We are extending our office closure by another two weeks to a tentative reopening on April 20th. This is very likely to change but we will keep up with and follow the authorities' recommendations. As that date approaches we will make a decision and call any patients that it affects. Thanks again!

If you have any trouble reaching us via phone when we are not in, you can either email us at [email protected] or message us here through Facebook. Thank you!

Dear Patients,
We are shutting down our office immediately to follow our governor's recommendations as well as the ADA's. We will be available for true dental emergencies only. This is for the safety of our patients, staff, as well as the greater good of our community. We are working the phones to rearrange all patient appointments in the next two weeks. We will be monitoring the situation carefully and will reopen when it is safe to do so. Please be safe and keep your spirits up!

I thought I would post a few photos of some everyday dental work that we do here. First photo is after about 3 seconds of drilling, I don't have a before picture, but there was a small black pinhole with dark shadowing around it. After this short bit of drilling it is obvious the cavity is fairly large. Second pic shows the cavity opened up a bit more, but still can't see the edges of the cavity. The orange-brown color is soft mushy tooth structure that is decay that travels through the tooth. Third pic is after all the decay is removed. The cavity extended to the outer edge of the tooth and was pretty big. The walls of the cavity are smoothed so that a better filling can be placed. 4th pic is after the filling has been placed and initial adjustments. (The blue stuff is a rubber dam by the way). Last picture, the dam has been removed, bite checked and adjusted, and the filling is polished to be glassy smooth.
Any comments or questions are welcome!

Heather (assistant) and Margaret (hygienist) both joined our practice in August this year. We once again offer two hygienists on most days to help get spouses or kids in at the same time. Having two full time assistants also gives us great flexibility to get emergencies seen right away. Come meet the new members of our team!

Emily (hygienist) and Tina (assistant) joined our practice just over a year ago! We are very happy to have them.

Thought I'd share an interesting case, this patient had his tooth traumatized over 30 years ago and it has been dark like this for a long time. It recently became symptomatic, so a root canal was done. We were able to bleach the tooth from inside (internal bleaching) after the root canal, after just 5 days, the tooth matches great!
