Did you know medical insurance companies, by law, have to spend a certain percentage of your premium dollars on patient care? Thanks to the CDA for their advocacy efforts; now more of your dental insurance premium dollars will be allocated toward your care!

SB23-179 is signed into law by Gov. Polis! This important dental insurance reform policy aims to improve transparency on dental insurance plan spending. The bill defines a Dental Loss Ratio (DLR) reporting structure and requires that dental insurers disclose how many premium dollars actually go to patient care.

Our dental assistant, Dakota, has passed her NCLEX and will be moving on to a new job in nursing! We're searching for a dental assistant to take her position in the new year. A dental assistant helps the doctors chairside with fillings, crowns, dentures, and extractions; sterilizes instruments; and takes radiographs. We also utilize CEREC for same-day crowns and making digital impressions.
