🦷 Dr. Joe Knows
"Whitening toothpaste vs. professional whitening"

Dr. Joe Says:
"Whitening toothpaste can help remove surface stains, but it won’t change the natural color of your teeth. Professional whitening works deeper to address discoloration and can provide brighter, faster results under professional supervision."

Smile Tip:
The best whitening option depends on your teeth and your goals!

🦷 Dr. Joe Knows
"Is charcoal toothpaste good for your teeth?"

Dr. Joe Says:
"Charcoal toothpaste may be trendy, but that doesn’t necessarily make it tooth-friendly. There’s limited evidence that it safely whitens teeth, and some formulas can be too abrasive. Over time, wearing away enamel can actually make your teeth appear more yellow."

Smile Tip:
Protect your enamel! Choose a fluoride toothpaste with the ADA Seal of Acceptance.

🦷 Dr. Joe Knows

"Why is flossing so important?"

Dr. Joe Says:
"Brushing does a great job cleaning the surfaces of your teeth, but it can’t reach everywhere. Floss gets between your teeth to remove plaque and food particles your toothbrush leaves behind, helping keep both your teeth and gums healthy."

Smile Tip:
Healthy smiles brush AND floss!
