~Hello Friends & Family!
February is the Month of LOVE.
While you're giving extra Kisses and Love this month, remember to keep fresh breath.
In order to do that, you need to be aware of why someone gets bad breath, or otherwise called "Halitosis".

CONTRIBUTING FACTORS
>Food= The food we eat can cause bad breath. Obviously, things like garlic, and onions can linger in our mouth, no matter how many times we brush, or rinse with mouthwash; it just mask it. Until it's out of your system it's even in your pores!

>Brushing= This actually gets food particles off of the teeth, helping to not harbor bacteria and cause a smell.

>Flossing= This is a HUGE contributing factor to Halitosis. Food that is able to stay between teeth and under the gums, promotes bacterial growth and inflames the gums and only leading to more harboring of food when the gums are puffy and pulling away from the teeth.

FUN TOOTH FACTS

*Tooth enamel is the hardest part of the entire body; even harder than bone.

*Teeth are the only part of the human body that can’t repair itself. They are coated in enamel, which is not a living tissue.

*No two people have the same set of teeth; they are as unique as your fingerprint.

~ Now that Halloween and Thanksgiving are over, we are so looking forward to Christmas!
But, that still means more sweets than usual.

* DID YOU KNOW.....
Research shows that chewing sugarless gum for 20 minutes after meals can help prevent tooth decay.
That's because the act of chewing increases the flow of saliva in your mouth, which washes away food and other debris. The extra saliva also provides more calcium and phosphate, to help strengthen tooth enamel.
