Aroostook Agency on Aging is such an amazing resource for our beautiful elderly community.

One of my clients was actually able to be reimbursed for the cleaning services I provide, and while I’m there I also help prepare meals — and those services were covered too! �

I recently spoke with one of the wonderful ladies who helps connect our older generation with services they may need like:
• House cleaning
• Meal assistance
• Transportation
• In-home support
…and so much more.

She shared that these programs and services ARE available for many seniors, but there’s a huge disconnect in getting the information out to the people who truly need it.

So I’m asking everyone to PLEASE share this post. �
You never know who may need a little extra help, or who may have a parent, grandparent, neighbor, or friend struggling silently.

There are resources out there. Sometimes people just need help finding them.

When you call the number ask for RUTH! �
