Due to the winter storm over the past few days, we have decided to close our office for the remainder of the week. The parking areas around our building are not completely cleared and are icy in spots. While road crews are working diligently to clear the roads, we feel that it would be safer for our staff and patients to reschedule. We will be back in the office on Monday, February 12th at 7 am.

It's hard to believe that we had a trolly in downtown Prescott along Gurley Street. The building on the left is on the corner of Cortez and Gurley. Our office is next to this building, but it looks like it had not been built at the time this photo was taken.

Why Floss????

Flossing is an essential part of any oral care routine. Brushing and rinsing on their own are not adequate to clean the areas between your teeth. Using a flossing device to clean between your teeth removes plaque while preventing cavities and gum disease.
If your dental routine does not regularly and adequately remove plaque, it can harden into tartar that requires professional help to remove.

Here are some tips for choosing floss.

For tight-fitting teeth: Use waxed floss, which easily glides into small spaces.
For wider spaced teeth: Use tape-style or regular un-waxed floss.
Not a fan of floss?
Try using a flossing pick or a water flosser.
