The original office in Prairie du Sac was added on to twice before a new building was erected in 1999, increasing the capacity from 9 operatories to 20. Through the years we have continued to keep up with new technology to give our patie

nts the very best we can. The Black Earth location was established in 1978 as part of a Pharmacy, Doctors Clinic and Dental Office. When this location became far too small, a new Village Family Dental was built in 1998 downtown Black Earth. The satellite office is within a 25 mile radius and gives our patients better availability and choice. The Spring Green location was established in 1990 in the Jefferson Mall and is also within a 25 mile radius to the other locations. When the tight space became an issue, a new Village Family Dental was built in 2003. This allowed the option of 2 Dentists working on the same day and increasing patient appointment times. Through the years of growth the number of Dentists increased from 1 to 7. Several of these Dentists work out of multiple locations. We do our best to continue to grow with the communities we serve. In 2015 Village Family Dental welcomed a full time Certified Orthodontist to our staff.

Earlier this month we were fortunate to celebrate Jean and her amazing 22 years of service as she retires from Village Family Dental.

Jean’s presence and positive attitude have been a cornerstone of the VFD team for so long, and you will be deeply missed. Thank you for the countless memories and for helping build the warm, welcoming culture we all cherish.

Earlier this week we celebrated Bernadette as she retires after 21 wonderful years as a patient coordinator for Village Family Dental.

Through her 21 years, Bernadette often guided patients through their appointments, helping with scheduling, treatment planning, and financial arrangements. What truly makes Bernadette special is the personal connection she has built with our patients. Many shared their stories with her and trusted her guidance because she uniquely makes people feel comfortable, valued, and cared for. Her kindness and personal touch helped so many patients feel at home in our office.

Village Family Dental is incredibly thankful for Bernadette and her dedication over the past two decades. We wish you a joyful retirement, Bernadette!

Today we celebrate Laurie and her retirement after 21 years of dedicated service as a Dental Assistant for Village Family Dental.

During her tenure, Laurie has become known for her reliability, loyalty, and exceptional chairside skills. She truly cares for every patient she works with and always goes the extra mile to make sure they receive the highest quality care. Laurie knew the community and its' people so well and we will miss her ability to connect and converse with every patient

Laurie's commitment and compassionate care have made a lasting impact on both our team and the patients she served.

After 30 incredible years, we are celebrating the retirement of our beloved Spring Green clinical administrator, Karin.

Karin has been the heart of our Spring Green front office and the first smile our patients saw when they walked through the door. Known for her warmth and kindness, she has a special way of making everyone feel welcome and at home.

For three decades, Karin helped keep the office running smoothly, our team organized, and our morale high. Many of our team members think of her as the “mother hen” of the office, always looking out for everyone around her.

Her impact on our practice and our patients is immeasurable. Village Family Dental is so grateful for her years of dedication and wish her a wonderful and well-deserved retirement.

Last month was Children's Dental Health month! Laura O, one of our amazing dental hygienists, visited several classrooms and the Ruth Culver Library to speak to kiddos about dental health, read stories and give demonstrations. Check out some of the fun Laura had!
