🦷 “Wait… a partial denture is WHAT exactly?”
Great question! A partial denture is a removable appliance designed to replace one or several missing teeth — kind of like a supportive teammate for the smile you already have. 😄

Many patients think if they lose teeth, they automatically need “full dentures.” Not true! Partial dentures are often a fantastic option when healthy natural teeth still remain.

At West Sound Dentistry, we know that sometimes the hardest part of a dental appointment is simply walking through the door. That’s where Sunny comes in. 🐶💛

Sunny is our “canine comfort” pup, and her job is pretty important:
✔️ Accepting belly rubs
✔️ Sitting on laps
✔️ Handing out emotional support snuggles
✔️ Making nervous patients smile
✔️ Occasionally supervising the office like she pays rent here

Studies show that spending time with dogs can help lower stress and anxiety — and honestly, it’s hard to stay tense when there’s a fluffy little face looking at you with unconditional love.

Some patients chat with Sunny through their appointment. Some hold her paw. Some just relax knowing she’s nearby. And yes… sometimes she completely steals the spotlight from the dentist. We’re okay with that. 😄
