VIKING DENTAL ANNOUNCEMENT! ADAPT: Accelerated Dental Assisting Professional Training is now available!

(ADAPT) prepares students to adapt to initial employment in a wide variety of dental offices. Course instruction includes terminology, sterilization procedures, treatment preparation, radiographic techniques, charting and health documentation, and an introduction to dental management software.
Students will learn general chairside dental assisting with hands-on experience and individualized instruction. Additionally, students will receive an introduction to oral surgery and dental implants, oral sedation, endodontics, periodontics, and prosthodontic techniques.
At the completion of the course, the student will qualify for an AIDS/HIV certificate, CPR Certificate, Bloodborne Pathogens Training Card and information leading to Washington State Dental Assistant Registration.
