This patient came to us with pain every time he bit down: an issue that started right after a new crown was placed at his previous office. That dentist couldn’t pinpoint the cause. Our hygienist could.

The X-ray tells the story: excess cement left behind after cementation, packed between the teeth and pressing into the gum tissue. After a thorough cleaning (and a lot of elbow strength), the difference speaks for itself. The patient is finally comfortable again.

Note: This reflects the hygiene side of care. The doctor is separately evaluating the integrity of the crown.
