Dr. Jim Frohnmayer~
Dr. Frohnmayer is a graduate & former clinical professor at Oregon Health & Science University School of Dentistry (OHSU). After serving in the US Army, Dr. Frohnmayer opened this practice and has loved providing the community with the best dental care possible for over 40 years. In his continuing education, he has taken extensive courses in oral bio-aesthetics & function, orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry and dental laser techniques.
When Dr. Frohnmayer is not chairside, he loves to spend time boating and fishing with his two dogs, Rusty and Spencer. He also enjoys spending time with family and loves being a father and grandfather. Dr. Frohnmayer has provided mentorship to many, leading them to higher education and professional success.
Dr. Farzin Turk~
Dr. Turk is a graduate of Oregon Health & Science University School of Dentistry (OHSU). After graduation, he went on to complete a postgraduate residency at OHSU where he received extensive training in oral surgery and endodontic procedures. Dr. Turk became part of the Portsmouth Dental Care family and has been providing our patients with excellent dental care for the last 25 years. Dr. Turk has received additional training in orthodontics and specializes in oral surgery, endodontic procedures, implant placement, and cosmetic dentistry.
When Dr. Turk is not in the office providing the highest standard of dental care to his patients and their families, he enjoys playing golf. Dr. Turk and his wife are also very passionate about giving back to our community. His greatest joy in life is recently becoming a grandfather to a happy and healthy baby boy.
Dr. Kelsey Cone~
Dr. Cone grew up in Manchester, Vermont. She attended Norwich University for her undergraduate degree in Biology and received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from The University of New England College of Dental Medicine. She completed a General Practice Residency at one of California's best Level 1 trauma centers. Dr. Cone's interests are in restorative and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Cone has many interests outside of dentistry which include: hiking, running, and ice hockey, which she played competitively in college. Dr. Cone loves spending time with her dog Maggie.
Dr. Jared Hawthorne~
Dr. Hawthorne grew up in Vancouver, WA. A lifetime patient of Portsmouth Dental Care, Dr. Hawthorne’s passion for dentistry grew from his warm experiences at the office and later mentoring by Dr. Frohnmayer and Dr. Turk. Dr. Hawthorne completed his undergraduate at Washington State University. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Southern California. Dr. Hawthorne is dedicated to providing quality, comfortable dentistry and building lasting relationships. Dr. Hawthorne’s interests include endodontics, orthodontics, pediatric and cosmetic dentistry. In his free time, Dr. Hawthorne enjoys spending time with his family, fishing and being outdoors.
