Multnomah Village Dental is hiring for a front office position to help out with our amazing insurance coordinator. Full time preferred but willing to consider part time for the right person. Job Responsibilities to Include:

Answering phones

Scheduling patients and presenting treatment plans

Collecting payments and sending out patient billing

Helping out other team members when needed

Job Requirements:

Prefer medical/dental scheduling/billing but not required for the right candidate

Willing to train and be self motivated

Team player

Office Hours:

Monday-Thursday 7:45a-5:30pm. Hours can be flexible for the right person but will need at least two days/week available for end of day (5:30 PM).

Benefits (available after 90 days)

Paid vacation/sick, 401k matching, medical insurance stipend for full time (32 hours/week), free dental for employee and discount for immediate family members

Multnomah Village Dental donated all of their excess gloves, gowns and masks tonight to the Emergency Room department at Randall’s Children Hospital. Our local hospitals are in very short supply of essential protective equipment. We encourage any other dental or medical facilities that are limiting their care at this time to consider donating excess masks, gloves or gowns to your local ER departments.

Update statement for Covid 19 dental Starting Monday March 16th until June 15th 2020: Multnomah Village Dental will be limiting our care to emergency patients only. We are making this decision based on a mandate by Governor Brown that all dental offices need to limit their practice to emergency only patients to help conserve PPE (gloves, masks, gowns) at this time. In addition, we are following guide lines from the Oregon Health Authority, American Dental Association, CDC and OSHA to protect our staff and patients from Covid 19. Due to the nature of our job, there are aerosols generated during all dental procedures, including cleaning appointments. It is very important to me that my staff and patients remain safe at this time and we can do our best to help prevent the spread of the Coronavirus and get necessary PPE to the hospitals that need them.
This decision was not made lightly and I apologize for any inconvenience this puts on our patients. We will be adding hours/days to or schedule so we can get you back in quickly once we are told it is safe to do so.
I would like to clarify that there have been no known cases of Coronavirus in our office and no known exposures. We are choosing to close our office to keep our staff and patients safe and help flatten the curve. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding during this time.
If you are having a dental emergency and are a current patient in our office please call: 503-246-2564 and listen to the message for emergency services. We will be phone screening all emergency patients and following ADA and CDC guidelines for emergency treatment.
