The Pacific Coast Society for Prosthodontics was founded in 1935, and in the decades since, our mission has stayed consistent: to promote the science, art, and practice of prosthodontics. What started as a regional gathering of practitioners has grown into a community spanning the Pacific Coast and well beyond, bound together by a commitment to exceptional education and to one another. Generations of prosthodontists have presented here, learned here, and built lifelong friendships here. That continuity is what makes PCSP what it is and it's what we carry forward into every meeting. Here's to our members, past and present, who built this incredible organization!

There are conference hotels, and then there's the Hilton Waikoloa Village. This 62-acre oceanfront resort along the Kohala Coast is connected by an air-conditioned tram and a canal boat that carries you between towers, restaurants, and the water. Mornings might start by snorkeling with turtles in the four-acre saltwater lagoon, a round of golf at the Waikoloa Beach and Kings' Courses, or a quiet morning walk with Kona coffee overlooking the bay and spotting the resident Atlantic bottlenose dolphins before the Scientific Sessions begin. Afternoons open up to three pools including a 175-foot waterslide, Kohala Spa, oceanfront dining, and the expansive grounds will have you discovering something new in every day.

We recommend reserving from June 7–13 rather than only the meeting dates, as the annual golf tournament kicks things off on June 8, and the social events run throughout the week. Discounted rates extend three days before and after based on availability, so there's plenty of room to bring the family and make a real vacation out of it.

For the first time, the Pacific Coast Society for Prosthodontics and the Academy of Prosthodontics are coming together for a joint Annual Meeting in 2027! Two incredible organizations, one meeting, and a program that reflects the best of both! Navigating the Future of Prosthodontics will take place from June 9-12, 2027 at the Hilton Waikoloa Village on the Big Island of Hawaii. This is a rare opportunity to learn from and connect with both communities at once, with an expanded 4-day Scientific Program, in a destination worth building a trip around!

Founded in 1918, the Academy of Prosthodontics is one of the oldest and most respected organizations in the specialty, built on a legacy of scholarship and clinical excellence. Since 1935, PCSP has brought together prosthodontists from across the western U.S. & Canada and beyond for world-class education and a community that feels like family.

History was made at the 91st Annual Meeting! Under the leadership of 2025-2026 President Dr. Rebecca Boardman , the 2026 Scientific Program featured an all‑women speakers list, a first for PCSP and a reflection of the incredible expertise and leadership women bring to prosthodontics.

The Pacific Coast Society for Prosthodontics was founded in 1930 when a small group of passionate prosthodontists gathered at the St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco with a shared vision of advancing their craft. That's over 95 years of advancing prosthodontic education, innovation, and community!
