October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, so I wanted to share a little of my own story. 🎀

In 2023, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. It was a scary and uncertain time, and I’m incredibly grateful to say I’m doing well today.

At the time, I had a single mastectomy and have had an expander in place ever since. In a couple of days, I’ll be having surgery to replace it with an implant, so I’ll be away from the studio for a few weeks while I recover.

I had hoped to launch a new website, new services, and some exciting changes in time to celebrate 10 years in business this September. But sometimes life has other plans. They’re still coming — just a little later than expected. ❤️

Most importantly, please get checked and pay attention to your body. Breast cancer doesn’t always present as a lump.

I’ll see you toward the end of October! Until then, we’ll have limited hours and Isabelle will be holding down the fort. 🎀💕

One year ago, I took a big leap and hired my very first employee… and I’m so glad I did. 🤍

We want to make you aware of a major transportation disruption that will bring widespread congestion and significantly longer travel times throughout the Portland metropolitan area.

Beginning September 11, all southbound lanes of I-5 through Portland's Rose Quarter between I-405 and I-84 will be closed 24 hours a day, every day, for up to 5 weeks while critical roadway repairs and safety improvements are completed.

If you are traveling through Portland to get to an appointment at Smile Labs PDX this fall, please plan ahead.

How to prepare:

Give yourself plenty of extra time to get to your appointment.

Check Apple or Google Maps to see the estimated travel time to your appointment.

Someone recently asked to see results from people who are not in their '20s. I consistently post results from people of all ages, but here we go. It goes to show you that everybody gets results, regardless of their age.

All these people here are not in their '20s. I hope that makes that one person happy though I doubt they will see this post. Lol.
