Do you have an intra-oral scanner? Are you restoring Zimmer Biomet implants? With the Encode healing abutments, you can reduce chair time and cost without compromising results when restoring implants.

Encode healing abutments have markings that identify the position and characteristics of the underlying ZB implant (Photo 1). The healing abutment acts as an impression coping when captured with an intra-oral scan (IOS). The scan can be taken by the surgical specialist at the torque test appointment or by the restoring dentist.

As an Encode Empowered Lab (EEL), we able to accept an IOS from every major digital impression system to restore Zimmer Biomet implants with Encode healing abutments. Our software allows us to create a virtual model with the implant analog in place (Photo 2). Our technicians then design your patient specific abutment (Photo 3) and restoration. The digital file of the abutment is sent to Zimmer Biomet to be milled and the restoration is fabricated in the lab simultaneously. Interested? Questions? Artisan is back-Fully operational and excited to return to work with our customers as of 5/7! In the best interest of public health, we have reviewed our infection control policies and instituted additional precautions to ensure safe personal interaction with our customers. The following steps have been taken to prevent the spread of COVID-19:

-All staff are interviewed and observed for COVID-19 symptoms, asked to report recent contact with anyone infected, and screened for fever.

-All staff are required to wear a mask and practice physical distancing while working inside and outside of the laboratory.

-Delivery drivers have been provided masks, gloves, hand sanitizer, and disinfectant wipes.

-Cases are being sent out in biodegradable plastic bags instead of cardboard boxes. We will provide additional bags
and ask that you please use them to submit your cases.

-Please notify us if you would prefer contactless pick-up and delivery.
