✨ Ashley — 5 Years! Our incredible Orthodontic Assistant who brings so much positivity, compassion, and fun to our office! Ashley is always going above and beyond to make sure our patients feel comfortable, cared for, and confident throughout their orthodontic journey. We are so lucky to have her on our team! 🥰

✨ Julie — 3 Years! Our wonderful Front Desk Patient Scheduling & Care Coordinator who keeps everything running smoothly while making sure our patients and families feel welcomed and taken care of from the moment they walk through our doors! 💙

✨ Becky — 1 Year! Our amazing Patient Care Receptionist Coordinator! 🎒✨ Let’s build a braces bag together! ✨🦷

Wondering what’s inside your Maine Orthodontics braces bag? Here’s everything you’ll receive to help keep your smile healthy throughout treatment!

🪥 Manual Toothbrush – We include a regular toothbrush, but you can absolutely use your favorite toothbrush at home (manual or electric)! The most important part is using the brushing technique we teach you at your very first braces appointment.

✈️ Travel Toothbrush – Perfect for brushing after meals while you’re at school, work, or on the go!

🦷 Floss + Floss Threaders – These make flossing around your braces wire much easier, helping you keep your teeth and gums healthy.

💙 Orthodontic Wax – If something feels sharp or is poking your cheek or lips, simply place a small piece of wax over the area. It creates a smooth barrier to reduce irritation and give the area time to heal.

🌲 Interproximal (“Christmas Tree”) Brush – Your best friend when food gets stuck in your braces! This little brush easily removes food from around your brackets and wires when you’re away from home.

🚫 Food Restrictions List – To help avoid broken brackets and wires, be sure to stay away from sticky, chewy, hard, and crunchy foods (or anything similar to the foods on the list) throughout your braces journey.

✨ Don’t worry if you run out of any of your braces essentials! We always have replacements available. Just ask for more at your next appointment or stop by during our office hours to restock your braces bag! We are here to make your braces journey as smooth as possible!

What it feels like clocking out to start Fourth of July break! 🇺🇸☀️🎆

Just a friendly reminder that Maine Orthodontics will be closed tomorrow, Friday, July 3rd, in observance of Independence Day.

We’ll be back next week with limited office hours until our doctors return on Monday, July 13th. If you need us, please leave us a message or send us a text, and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
