Dear Friends,

I am excited to announce that we will begin most of our normal operations starting Monday, May 11. As we continue to navigate our new normal and in full compliance with State, CDC, OSHA, and ADA recommendations, you and your family can rest assured that we will take every precaution to mitigate the spread of the novel coronavirus.

While our infection control practices have always been uncompromising, we are now taking additional steps to ensure your safety:

-Continue to pre-screen patients’ risk factors
-Take temperatures upon entering the office
-Fewer appointments to facilitate social distancing
-Frequently disinfect all surfaces
-Expand use of personal protective equipment
-Limit procedures that generate aerosols
-Decrease activity at the front desk
-Eliminate activity in the waiting room

Additionally, we ask several things of you:

-Confirm that you will be attending your appointment
-Before entering the office, call to ensure that we are prepared to seat you
-Be on time (anyone over 10 minutes late will be rescheduled)
-Wear a face mask upon entering and exiting the office
-Hand sanitizer will be available for your use upon entering the office
-Come to your appointment alone or with as few people as possible

Dear Friends:

I would like to take the time to assure you that we are taking the current COVID-19 pandemic seriously. As of last evening, the American Dental Association has recommended discontinuation of all routine, non-emergency care. Your safety, your family’s safety, and that of our staff is paramount.
Based on these recommendations, it is with a heavy heart that we have decided to postpone and reschedule all dental cleanings, dentures, implants, and crown and bridge appointments. Small fillings that can wait, will need to. Extractions, root canals, palliative care, and emergency exams will continue to be seen. Each week we will reassess in consultation with state and national recommendations. We will keep you informed of any changes as this situation progresses.
If you have a dental emergency or have questions regarding your care, please call us at 814.308.0954. We ask that you do not present to the emergency room for dental pain.
You can rest assured that we abide by standard infection control and hand hygiene protocol, including comprehensive sterilization of instruments and meticulous sanitizing of all treatment areas.
For the time being, we would like to emphasize social distancing principles and will promptly seat you for your appointment. We ask that you come to your appointments alone or with as few people as possible.
