We're pleased to announce that NOHN has been awarded a grant by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) to establish a service site in Forks! The award provides $650,000 in federal funding to help us address the primary care access gap in western Clallam County.

We’re excited to build on our work with Forks Community Hospital, Clallam County Health and Human Services - Public Health, and the Bogachiel Clinic to expand healthcare services on the West End. We anticipate opening the NOHN West End Clinic at 430 Terra Eden Street in the fall of this year.

We're excited to be working with healthcare partners like Forks Community Hospital, Clallam County Health and Human Services - Public Health, and the Bogachiel Clinic to share free health information and services with our neighbors in Forks as part of our mission to make healthcare accessible to everyone in the community.

Last April, outreach teams from these organizations went door-to-door, bringing blood pressure screenings, hypertension education, and immunization services, as well as patient enrollment and financial assistance information, to a predominantly non-English-speaking neighborhood in Forks. Plans are underway to organize a similar effort this fall.

Special thanks to El Comité de Derechos Humanos en Forks for their assistance at the event.

-----------------------------------------------------
