I am honored to have been nominated and selected for this year’s cohort of 40 Under 40 with South Sound Biz! 40 Under 40 recognizes young professionals who have excelled in their industries and have made contributions to their communities in various ways. For me, it’s making dentures and representing my business I founded and own, Custom Dentures Direct.
I am a proud representative of the rural communities surrounding the Key Peninsula and Olympic Peninsula. These communities have allowed my businesses to flourish, as I have made thousands of hand-crafted dentures and partials for those who need them.
Teeth give people the ability to eat and confidence to smile, and I am happy to help those who need teeth without judgement.
As I approach 6 years since I first opened Custom Dentures Direct in 2019, it has been nothing short of a rollercoaster ride. Between the Covid pandemic, growing and raising two beautiful children, and managing two clinics with zero maternity leave with very limited childcare. Aside all, I put my head down and kept working while helping as many individuals as I could and simultaneously supporting a family of 4.
Of course I couldn’t do it all alone, during this time I trained employees from the ground up who are now the backbone of my business and its success. They are hardworking, motivated individuals who now share the love of denture making with me. I have gained invaluable experiences and knowledge from other denturists and dentists who are incredible professionals that I am fortunate to tag team with.
I couldn’t be more grateful for my family who has been incredibly supportive and encouraging during my great denture adventure!
