Congratulations to our Honor Community Health Family Medicine residents on their outstanding state-level achievements at the 48th Annual Michigan Family Medicine Research Day! First-year resident Dr. Sandrine Kakieu-Djossi earned 1st place in the state for her oral presentation, “Acquired Perforating Dermatosis,” with co-authors Dr. Zoha Aleem and Dr. Ikechukwu Mgbudem. Dr. Swetha Aloori, second-year resident, earned 1st place in the state for her poster, “Bell’s Palsy in Early Postpartum Period: A Primary Care Approach,” with co-authors Dr. Fatima Wajahath and Dr. Srija Kesireddy. This comes after second-year resident Dr. Apote Zekpa won first place at the same conference in 2025. We are so proud to celebrate their hard work, scholarship, and dedication to family medicine!”

Our Waterford Durant School Based Health Centers parking lot is under construction, but we are still open. During construction, patients and families will use the Durant doors, located at the northwest corner of the building. When you arrive, please call us at (248) 674-4876, and a staff member will meet you at the door and walk you to the health center.”

If your student is transitioning to Pontiac Middle School, stop by the Honor Community Health Teen Health Center during tonight's school tour! Our team will be on-site to answer questions, share information about our services, and even provide tours of the health center located right inside the school.

Walk N Talk Wednesdays- Building Health & Community One Step at a Time!

What a fantastic couple of weeks at Honor Community Health’s Walk N Talk!

Last week, we were honored to be joined by Mike McGuinness, who walked alongside community members and shared in conversations about health, wellness, and the importance of staying connected.

This morning, we welcomed members of our Baldwin care team, including our physicians and pharmacist, who joined participants for a refreshing walk and meaningful discussions about healthy living.

We’re grateful for everyone who continues to show up each Wednesday morning. Your commitment to your health and our community is inspiring! As a thank-you, we have special wellness items available for our regular walkers while supplies last.
