Not all Halloween candy is created equal… at least according to your dentist!

We’re putting some Halloween favorites in the dental hot seat! 🔥 From cavity nightmares to smile-friendlier treats, we ranked popular candies based on how sticky, sugary, and acidic they are—and how long they like to hang around on those pearly whites. 👀

Now, before anyone starts confiscating Reese’s from their kids in the name of dental health (we see you, parents 😂), remember: Halloween is meant to be fun! A little candy isn’t going to haunt your smile forever.

Enjoy the treats, drink some water, and keep up those brushing and flossing routines. It’s all about balance, not banning the candy bucket!

We love the Fourth — the popsicles, the pool days, the sparklers, the backyard chaos, and the kids running around like they personally invented freedom.

But every year, the holiday comes with a few classic kid moments that can turn into not-so-fun dental emergencies:

Kids slipping around the pool with wet feet. Bikes, scooters, and driveway races that get a little too competitive. Face-first jumps off the couch, pool steps, or backyard playsets. Glow-stick wrappers, popsicle sleeves, and snack bags being opened with teeth. Hard candy, ice chewing, and sticky treats pulling on braces or hurting little teeth. Sparklers and fireworks getting way too close to faces, hands, and smiles.

So here’s your friendly reminder: keep shoes on when needed, slow down near the pool, save teeth for smiling instead of opening things, and keep fireworks in grown-up hands only.

We hope your Fourth is full of sticky fingers, blue tongues, big laughs, and happy little smiles — with zero emergency tooth stories to tell on Monday. Happy 4th from our crew to yours!

We don’t even know where to begin.

When we started this Google Reviews contest, we hoped to hear from a few families about their experience with us. What we didn’t expect was to sit down and read story after story from parents who took the time to share what this office has meant to their children, their families, and their peace of mind.

As moms ourselves, we know that taking your child to the dentist can feel like a lot. Sometimes it is their first visit. Sometimes they are scared. Sometimes you are the one holding your breath, hoping they feel safe, seen, and cared for. We know how much trust it takes to hand your child over to a dental team and hope they treat them with the same tenderness you would.
