Memorial Day Closure ⛔️

Ponte Vedra Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics will be closed on Monday, May 25th in observance of Memorial Day.

As we enjoy the long weekend with our families, we also pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Happy Mother’s Day to the moms who are somehow the whole operating system. 🌷

You know the teacher’s name, the pediatrician’s number, the dentist appointment time, which water bottle belongs to which kid, who needs new shoes, who won’t eat crust, and exactly where the missing stuffed animal is hiding.

You remember the school spirit days, the permission slips, the favorite snacks, the loose tooth, the orthodontic visit, and the tiny details no one else even noticed. And somehow, in the middle of all of that, you make childhood feel safe, steady, and full of love.

We see you in our office every day — filling out forms, calming nerves, holding little hands, asking the questions, scheduling the next visit, and making sure your child feels cared for.

It may look like appointments and calendars and reminders. But really, it’s love. Happy Mother’s Day to the moms who keep the whole world turning, one little smile at a time.

We know parents want to feel confident about anything involving their child’s health, and dental X-rays are no exception. The good news is that dental imaging technology has come a long way.

Today’s digital dental X-rays use very low levels of radiation and allow our team to see what we simply cannot see with our eyes alone, like cavities between teeth, developing adult teeth, spacing concerns, infections, injuries, and growth patterns.
A relatable comparison? The amount of radiation from modern dental X-rays is often similar to what we are naturally exposed to during everyday life, like taking a short flight or simply spending time outside in the sun. Technology has made the process faster, clearer, and safer than ever before.

At Ponte Vedra Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics, we only recommend X-rays when they are needed, based on your child’s age, dental history, risk for cavities, growth, or specific concerns. Every image has a purpose, and every decision is made with your child’s safety in mind.

A week later, and we are still so grateful to have been part of something so meaningful. ☔️

We are honored to once again support the Apryle Showers Kids Fun Run, a special event that brings families together while shining a light on a cause that touches so many lives. Thanks to Dr. Lindsay personally covering every child’s entry fee, each child was able to participate at no cost, making it possible for more families to join in, be active, and be part of their community.

While the smiles, energy, and excitement from the run were so special to witness, what makes this event truly powerful is the mission behind it. The Apryle Showers Foundation serves cancer patients and their families by helping restore hope during treatment through personalized support that brings nourishment, healing, restoration, and peace when it is needed most.

It is a privilege to support an event that not only creates joyful memories for children, but also helps bring comfort and care to families walking through incredibly difficult seasons. We are thankful to have been part of it and proud to support an organization doing such meaningful work in our community.

Heather has such a calm, encouraging way with kids, Amber brings a gentle heart and love for patient education, Jennifer’s years of experience shine in the way she helps children feel comfortable and proud, and Kim has a true gift for creating positive dental experiences that last.
