🛠️ Job Duties Include:
• Greet, seat, and make patients feel welcome and comfortable
• Chairside assisting for all procedures:

X-rays: FMX, BWX, PA’s, Pano

Charting new patient exams

Restorative procedures (basic & major)

Oral surgery (primarily extractions)

Child prophy’s

Lab work: pouring models, writing lab Rx
• Chart notes at end of appointments
• Room prep/clean-up and maintaining organization
• Instrument sterilization and cross-team support
• Flexibility and a team mindset are a must – every day is a little different!

Need a better work/life balance? Ponderay Dental is seeking a chairside Dental Assistant to fill a current opening. Our office is open Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays - leaving you a 4 day weekend. Experience in 4-handed dentistry a must with duties to include: fillings, crowns, impressions, making and seating temporaries, endodontics, extractions, x-rays, patient charting, child prophy’s and sealants, sterilization, room prep set-up and tear down.

Ponderay Dental is looking for a front office receptionist/back-office rover with good communication skills and dental assisting experience. This position would include both front office receptionist and back-office assistant duties as needed. Applicant must be self-motivated, a multi-tasker and loyal team member. Patient rapport and phone etiquette are imperative. Front office duties require experience in scheduling appointments, patient check-in/check-out, knowledge with dental insurance and filing. Back office assistant duties require experience with chairside assisting, 4-handed dentistry, x-rays, charting, setting up and cleaning operatories, sterilization and assisting Hygiene when needed. Duties will fluctuate on a daily basis.
Our office is open 3 days/week (M-W). We pride ourselves in taking excellent care of our patients and are looking or someone who will be a great addition to our team.

Ponderay Dental is seeking to fill a permanent, part-time Registered Dental Hygiene position for 1-2 days a week. Office hours are Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with first hygiene appointment scheduled at 7:45 am and last appointment scheduled at 3:45 pm. This is a non-high-pressure production position; your focus will be on the patient. Our philosophy is very simple – treat our patients with excellent professional care as you would treat a family member or a friend.
