We are so excited to celebrate Dia De Los Mu***os- The Day of the Dead with Leavitt Orthodontics.

We are sponsoring a coloring contest and we want all to participate to help raise money for local schools. If you’re not a student, the school that you select must be local here in Pocatello, Idaho.

So grab your favorite “coloring” materials, print the image, and get started creating your very own sugar skull!

You may pick up a coloring sheet at our office or print one from our website. Your coloring sheet maybe displayed in our office. Show off your creativity for a chance to win up to $600 for your school PTO/PTA and 3 students could win a pizza party for their class. Decorate with bright and bold colors, glitter, sequins, etc. - Creativity counts!

✨Smile Transformation✨

Kaydee came to us wanting to improve the alignment of her teeth, but we wanted to think beyond simply making the teeth straight.

What else could we do to create a truly beautiful, natural-looking result?

Our goal was to look at the whole smile and face and use Kaydee’s natural teeth to create harmony, balance, and beautiful detail.

After discussing several options, we determined that braces would give us the control and precision we wanted. Kaydee initially came in interested in clear aligners, but ultimately chose braces so we could better style in the details of her smile.

Her treatment included:

✨ TADs to help improve her overbite and reduce the appearance of a gummy smile
✨ Upper arch development to create a broader, more balanced smile
✨ Interproximal reduction to minimize and eliminate black triangles
✨ Soft-tissue contouring to create more natural, harmonious tooth proportions
✨ Custom Damon Ultima brackets to help us achieve the detailed finishing this case required

And the result? A smile that looks natural—not manufactured.

But what we love most is that the transformation goes beyond the photos. Kaydee tells us her jaw feels better, her overbite has improved, and of course, her teeth are beautifully aligned.

Cases like Kaydee’s are a great reminder that great orthodontics isn’t just about straight teeth. It’s about looking at the entire smile, paying attention to the small details, and creating a result that looks like it was meant to be there all along.
