As we continue our celebration week, we would like to emphasize two more of our awesome hygienists, Cindy & Kathy!

Although they are newer to our office, they have transitioned seamlessly into our squad! Both are team players–they have worked together in the past at other practices and it shows! Cindy has a remarkable talent for treating special needs patients and Kathy’s gentle demeanor consistently puts all her patients at ease. We are lucky to have these ladies in our corner!

As we continue to celebrate Dental Hygienist Appreciation Week, we would like to highlight another one of our dedicated, long-standing hygienists, Meghan.

Meghan has been with our practice since 2002—an incredible 24 years! She is an expert in patient education and is especially skilled in diagnosing gum disease and other pathologies. She is a true professional, and we are grateful for her commitment to excellence.

This week is Dental Hygienist Appreciation Week, a time to pay tribute to the dedication & skill of the oral healthcare providers we are so fortunate to have on our team! 👏

We would like to especially recognize our longest-standing hygienists, Sharon and Linda, who have worked with Dr. Karr for 39 and 37 years, respectively. Both provide incredibly kind & individualized care to their patients. Sharon has a gift for comforting both pediatric patients & the elderly alike, and Linda has a special talent for treating medically complex patients. Please join us in thanking them for serving our community for so many years!

One of our patient care coordinators, Lisa, is in training to become a dental assistant!
She completed the Radiology Certification Program at the Yankee Dental Congress last week, where she passed both the didactic & clinical exams on the first try!

Last week, office manager Joanna, receptionist Lisa, and Dr. Emily attended the The Yankee Dental Congress in Boston, MA. The Yankee is New England’s largest dental meeting & provides continuing education, networking, and exhibits for dental professionals. At the conference, they took courses in Radiology, Gut Health, and Practice Management. The convention is a good opportunity to learn new things, try new technologies, and stay up-to-date in dentistry 😊
