September is the perfect time for a benefits check-in. Most dental insurance plans run January through December — which means if you have unused benefits, they may not roll over.

Here's what that means for you:
✅ Preventive care (like cleanings) is often covered at 100%
✅ You've already met part of your deductible
✅ Waiting could mean paying more out-of-pocket next year

Not sure what your plan covers?

Call our office — we'll help you figure it out. No complicated insurance-speak, we promise. 😊

A dental crown isn't something to be nervous about — it's one of the most effective ways to protect and restore a damaged tooth.

Here are some signs one might be in your future:
⚠️ A cracked or chipped tooth
⚠️ Pain when you bite or chew
⚠️ A tooth with a large, old filling
⚠️ After a root canal
⚠️ Significant decay that can't be fixed with a filling

Caught early, a crown can save your tooth — and save you from a much bigger issue down the road. Schedule a consult today.

We believe you deserve the best — and that starts with the technology we use every day.

From digital X-rays that reduce radiation exposure to intraoral cameras that let you see exactly what we see, our tools are designed to make your care faster, more comfortable, and more precise.

Curious about what goes on behind the scenes? We'd love to show you. 💚

Meet the Doctors at Dental Arts 🦷

We're proud to introduce the team behind your smile!

Dr. Samuel Fandino brings over three decades of experience, having graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry at just 23 years old — the youngest in his class. When he's not creating beautiful smiles, you'll find him performing as a musician around Metro Detroit or practicing Tae Kwon Do (he's a black belt!).

Dr. Kyle Detavernier is known for his warm, patient-first approach. A Michigan native who returned home after practicing in Cincinnati, he's passionate about implants, Invisalign, and giving back — including dental mission trips to Guatemala. Off the clock, he's usually golfing or cheering on Detroit sports teams.

Dr. Sharvil Shah rounds out our team as a specialist in implant dentistry, recognized as one of the youngest Associate Fellows of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. A University of Michigan grad, he's bringing cutting-edge tech like 3D imaging to our practice. When he's not in the office, he's traveling with his fiancée and their dogs.

Together, they're committed to giving you a healthier, more confident smile in a comfortable, welcoming environment. 😁

A professional dental cleaning isn't just a polish — it's one of the most important things you can do for your long-term oral health.

Here's what to expect:
🔹 Plaque + tartar removal (even where your brush can't reach)
🔹 Polishing to remove surface stains
🔹 Flossing + gum assessment
🔹 X-rays (if needed)
🔹 Personalized tips from your hygienist Most cleanings take 45–60 minutes.
No fear needed — just a healthier smile on the other side. 😊

Summer cookouts are one of the best parts of the season — but some of your favorite BBQ foods can be tough on enamel. Sugary sauces, sticky corn on the cob, and acidic lemonades can all weaken and stain your teeth over time.

Our tips: rinse with water after eating, wait 30 minutes before brushing, and keep up with your regular cleanings.

Enjoy every bite — just protect that smile! 😄
